Our Mission.

Homegrown Experience is a dance event that was first founded in Canada by Reet Roy, and later expanded to Denmark and even later to the Netherlands and last but not least to Belgium. It focuses on giving a spotlight to lesser known choreographers (on international terms), mostly in the street/commercial scene and allows them to push their career forward by teaching in an international workshop.

We are attracting dancers from the entire country to come to R2D and participate in the workshops. Teachers and dancers all have the chance to win scholarships at the events to have more international experiences to grow, train and learn. Furthermore we will be showing them around the city to give them an idea of the cultures.
